1. Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return, items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, unused, free from any odours, stains, damage, or signs of wear, with all original tags attached and the original packaging intact. All returned items are inspected upon receipt. Returns that do not comply with these conditions may be rejected and returned to the customer without a refund.
2. How to Request a Return
Prior authorisation is required before returning any item. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
To request a return, please contact us at kontakt@egonhaus.de and include your order number together with the reason for the return. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and provide the appropriate return instructions.
For your protection, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning any item, as we cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.
3. Return Shipping Costs
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrectly dispatched item due to our error, we will cover the reasonable return shipping costs.
For all other return situations, including but not limited to change of mind, incorrect size selection, incorrect colour selection, duplicate orders, incorrect items ordered by the customer, products not meeting personal expectations, accidental purchases, delayed return requests, or any other circumstance resulting from customer preference or error, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide your order number along with clear photographs showing the issue.
Upon verification, you may choose either a free replacement or a full refund. In such cases, all reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by Egon Haus.
5. Refund Process
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome of the inspection.
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, the refunded amount may take an additional 1–2 billing cycles to appear in your account.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return results from a defective, damaged, or incorrectly dispatched item.
6. Exchanges
Customers wishing to exchange an item should contact us before returning the product to confirm availability.
All exchanges are subject to available stock. If the requested replacement item is unavailable, a full refund will be issued in accordance with this policy.
7. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns of items that have been worn, washed, altered, damaged after delivery, or otherwise show signs of use.
Items returned without their original tags, original packaging, or in a condition that prevents resale may also be refused.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund after the applicable processing period, please first check your bank account and contact your card issuer or payment provider, as posting times can vary.
If the refund is still not visible after the expected processing period, please contact us at kontakt@egonhaus.de and we will investigate the matter for you.
9. Return Window
Returns are only accepted when the item fully complies with all return conditions described in this policy and the return request is submitted within 14 days from the date of delivery, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted, and any item that fails to meet the required return conditions may be refused.
